Jamie Langston left the fast-paced world of cardiac ICU to serve in community nursing and clinical research. She wanted to become a change agent in what felt like a broken medical system. Langston has seen her own loved ones’ struggle with chronic conditions that weren’t served by conventional care.
Langston’s sense of compassion and advocacy led her to the Institute of Functional Medicine (IFM). IFM courses showed her more effective approaches to managing chronic diseases. Langston experienced health transformation herself, identifying her own root causes through genetic testing, GI mapping, and nutrient testing. She draws from all her experiences to serve and encourage patients at LSMC.
